PTO Days are for all paid time off requests across sick, vacation, bereavement, and other incidents that could occur. All employees start with 15 PTO days and gain an additional 2 PTO days each year of employment.
Alert a manager before shift starts if sick
Unlimited unpaid PTO days
Submit Vacation Request in Rippling for Approval:
minimum 1 weeks in advance for 2 or fewer days
minimum 2 weeks in advance for 3 or more days
Approved OOO Plan (Communication and Delegation Plan) in Writing via Slack and/or email to Direct Reports and Supervisor if 3 or more days
OOO Plan should include OOO Auto-responder with point of contact
Will Answer or Return Calls on Vacation But Avoid Calling Someone OOO Unless Necessary (Use Judgement)
No expectation of response to written communication w/out a call
What Counts as PTO During Working Hours:
Anything less than 4 hours should be made up either in the AM or PM the same day
A half day needs to be taken for any amount of work missed between 4 - 6 hours
More than 6 hours of work missed is a Full Day PTO
