Here is the information of how commissions are calculated at Topline, covering three parts: upsells, standard sales tied to monthly task completion, and retention-based bonuses.
The account moves to an immediate 10% commission, upon securing any monthly upsell or if your account refers a new Flex customer.
One-time upsells are always 10%.
Example: If you have a client in month 3 on Flex Plus $1000/mo you would receive a 5% commission ($50) but if you are able to get an upgrade to Flex Enterprise ($2,000/mo) you would move immediately to a 10% commission ($200) on the entire book for that client.
These bonuses reward you for keeping clients active and maintaining long-term relationships.
Active Customer (5%)
– Customers must be active in Topline OS, and all three core tasks must be done.
6-Month Relationship Bonus (8%)
– You have worked with the client for more than six months.
1-Year Relationship Bonus (10%)
– You have worked with the client for at least one year.
Normal commission depends entirely on completing three key tasks. If you fail to complete any of the three, you earn zero for that account. Also, if a client cancels or downgrades to SO, commission won’t be paid.
